Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
1. Originality: The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. File Format: The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
3. Formatting: The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines and the Manuscript Template.
4. Blind Review: To ensure the integrity of the blind peer-review, every effort has been made to prevent the identities of the authors and reviewers from being known to each other. Please ensure the main manuscript file does not contain author names or affiliations.
5. References: URLs for the references have been provided where available, and citations follow the journal's chosen style (e.g., APA Style, IEEE, etc.).
Peer Review Process
Matrapolis employs a Double-Blind Peer Review process to ensure the quality and validity of the research published.
1. Initial Screening: All submitted manuscripts are first reviewed by the Editorial Team to ensure they fall within the scope of the journal and meet basic academic standards. Manuscripts that fail to meet these criteria will be rejected without review.
2. Reviewer Assignment: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.
3. Review Criteria: Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodology, clarity, contribution to the field, and relevance.
4. Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief will make a final decision:
· Accept Submission: No revisions needed.
· Revisions Required: Minor changes needed.
· Resubmit for Review: Major changes needed; will be reviewed again.
· Decline Submission: Rejected.
5. Duration: The typical review process takes approximately [4-8 weeks].
