Abstract
Muncar District is a sub-districts located at the eastern end of Banyuwangi Regency, East Java Province which is directly adjacent to the Bali Strait. Muncar District has various potentials, based on the RTRW of Banyuwangi Regency in 2012 – 2032 it is designated as a Minapolitan Area and Tourism Development Area II with the image of spiritual tourism and marine tourism. However, the existing condition of the existing infrastructure is considered to be still less support of activities in the Muncar Coast, so that there are problems, including: environmental pollution, unpleasant odors, the amount of garbage in the Muncar Beach area, frequent beach abrasion, and the lack of lighting. In addition, the fishery infrastructure is also not optimal, including: access to TPI Brak Kalimoro is narrow and unpaved, fish carriers are low, the wharf at the Fishery Port is not functioning and the SPBN operating is uncertain. So that this research has the aim to determine the priority of infrastructure development in the Muncar Coastal area and provide direction for the development of its infrastructure. This research method uses a rationalistic approach and the types of research are quantitative and qualitative. In determining the priority of infrastructure development in the coastal area of Muncar District using the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) technique and to determine the direction of infrastructure development using triangulation analysis. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the infrastructure priorities are: priority 1 (garbage, waste management systems and sanitation, drainage, and health centers), priority 2 (electricity network, cold storage, gas station, fish auction, and road network), and priority 3 (village unit cooperative, restaurants and homestays).
