Abstract
Jember Regency is included in one of the areas with the highest positive number in East Java Province. Various efforts have been made to reduce the transmission rate in Jember Regency, from the application of community restrictions, mobility restrictions, curfew restrictions, to vaccinations that continue to be intensified to reduce the transmission rate. Regional interaction analysis was carried out to determine the spatial pattern of Covid-19 transmission in Jember Regency. The method in this analysis uses the Gravity model to identify the interaction of transmission between sub-districts and mapping to describe the interaction pattern of the transmission of COVID-19 in Jember Regency. Based on the results of the analysis of the epicenter of the spread of COVID-19 in Jember Regency, it is in the Jember urban sub-district, namely Kaliwates, Sumbersari, Patrang, and Ajung Districts. The increase in cases in the epicenter area will have a direct impact on increasing cases in Arjasa District and then increasing cases in Sukorambi District. The other sub-districts will also experience an increase in cases evenly but not as much as the epicenter and its main derivatives. Strategies that can be taken to reduce the transmission rate from the results of the analysis consist of implementing micro PPKM, limiting mobility, and providing quarantine facilities in each sub-district.
