Abstract
Trunojoyo Street is a commercial area in Pamekasan Regency which is able to attract many visitors. The problem on Trunojoyo Street lies in the on-street parking which occupies two sides of the road. This is not in accordance with the policy in the Regulation of the Regent of Pamekasan Regency No. 22 of 2011 which states that road parking is on one side of the road, namely the west side. In addition, the problem increases during peak hours, namely congestion at several points. So it is necessary to recommend parking arrangements in the commercial area of Trunojoyo Street to minimize parking problems and be able to support the function of the area as a commercial area. This study aims to determine the condition of the existing parking lot, calculate parking requirements, and formulate recommendations for parking arrangements on Trunojoyo Street. The formulation of parking structuring recommendations comes from 3 analysis results, namely from the analysis of existing conditions with the results that there is a mismatch of parking spaces on the existing condition of the road body with the provisions of the parking prohibition contained in the Technical Guidelines for the Implementation of Parking Facilities such as the distance to the intersection, the distance to the bridge, the distance to the parking lot. pedestrian paths, and the risk of congestion. The parking index shows the need for car parking space is greater than the existing parking capacity, so that the structuring recommendations lead to adjustments to parking guidelines and parking plots are adjusted to the calculation of parking capacity. Furthermore, from the analysis of visitor preferences in choosing a parking location using factor analysis in SPSS with the results of 3 factors that become a priority for visitors in choosing a parking location, namely the availability, proximity, and convenience factors. Furthermore, namely the results of a calculation that the parking needs of 1124 m2 that became the basis for determining which alternative parking locations in segment 1 and segment 2.
