Abstract
One of the largest areas in Batu City with the highest level of vulnerability to landslides is located in Bumiaji (Noorwantoro, 2014). Based on the RTRW of Batu City in 2010-2030, several villages that are used as residential areas in Bumiaji District are in disaster-prone areas. This is in accordance with the PERMEN PUPR Number 41/PRT/M/2007 concerning Guidelines for Technical Criteria for Cultivation Areas that areas that can be used as non-hazardous areas are prone to disasters, floods, erosion, and abrasion. This research has purpose to identify landslide-prone areas in Bumiaji District and determine priorities for mitigation efforts that can be done. The analytical method used in mapping is overlay, while in choosing priority mitigation efforts are carried out using the AHP method. Basedion the results of the analysis,it is known that Bumiaji District is one of the sub-districts in Batu City which is included in an area prone to landslides. Mapping of landslide-prone areas by overlaying 4-parameter maps of rainfall, soil type, land use and slope resulted in a classification of landslide-prone areas. Areas with low susceptibility are 24.2%, medium area is 37.7%, high is 35.3% and very high is 2.8% of the total Bumiaji sub-district. The main priority for disaster mitigation in accordance with the characteristics of the Bumiaji District area is mapping disaster-prone areas, followed by human resource education and training, making disaster predictions, making routes and forming task forces.
